Controller and contact

Limowo is an early-stage marketplace project. It currently publishes limowo.ch@gmail.com as the contact for privacy requests and does not publish formal company or operator details yet.

What we collect

We collect account details (email, name, language, verification status), phone number when you verify it, listing and message data, notification preferences, privacy requests, and analytics information only when you consent.

Why we collect it

Data is used to authenticate users, operate listings and messages, verify accounts, share requested notifications, prevent abuse, process privacy requests, and maintain a safe marketplace.

Legal bases

Depending on the feature, Limowo processes data to perform marketplace services, comply with legal duties, protect legitimate security and abuse-prevention interests, and handle analytics only after consent.

Postal address verification

If you request address verification, Limowo may send a one-time code by post to the address you provide. The letter is used only for verification, contains no advertising, and expires after the verification window. We show only an address-verified signal publicly; we never publish your exact address. Verification data is retained only as long as necessary for the verification and security record, subject to applicable legal retention duties.

Retention & rights

Signed-in users can update profile data, change analytics consent, download a JSON data export, and schedule account deletion from the profile privacy center. Account deletion has a 30-day cancellation period before permanent removal. You can also contact limowo.ch@gmail.com.

Third-party processors

We rely on PostgreSQL, Prisma, MinIO/S3-compatible storage, email/SMS delivery, Keycloak/Google authentication, Stripe when payments are used, and OpenAI for selected moderation or automation features. Data transfers use GDPR-standard safeguards where required.

Cross-border transfers

Some providers may process data outside Switzerland. Limowo should document subprocessors and use appropriate contractual safeguards before launch whenever data leaves Switzerland or the EEA.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, and withdrawal of consent. Authenticated users can use the profile privacy center; other requests can be sent to limowo.ch@gmail.com.
