Terms of use
These terms define the current operating rules for Limowo accounts, listings, messages, seller profiles, moderation, and safe marketplace use.

Privacy notice1. Platform role
Limowo currently provides marketplace software for discovering listings, communicating with users, and publishing seller profiles. Users arrange payment, pickup, delivery, and any private contract directly with one another. Limowo does not currently provide checkout, hold funds, operate wallets, settle payouts, or guarantee user-listed goods. Any future paid or checkout feature requires separate terms and launch approval.
2. Account and verification
Users must provide accurate account information, keep access credentials secure, and use only accounts they are authorised to use. Limowo is intended for adults. A minor may use Limowo only with the involvement and responsibility of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by applicable law. Limowo may require email verification, Swiss phone verification, account profile review, or additional checks before allowing sensitive actions such as publishing, messaging, sensitive account actions, or admin access.
3. Listings and prohibited content
Listings must be truthful, lawful, placed in the correct category, and include accurate price, condition, location, delivery, and availability information. Users must not publish another person's personal data without a lawful reason, infringing material, scams, counterfeit or stolen goods, dangerous or illegal goods, discriminatory or hateful content, threats, harassment, malware, spam, or misleading offers. Limowo may block or remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.
4. Prices, payments, and subscriptions
Limowo currently has no checkout, subscriptions, credits, paid placement, payout, or customer-funds feature. Users are responsible for agreeing privately on price, payment, pickup, delivery, taxes, and any required permits. Future commercial features will not be enabled until their contracting party, prices, VAT treatment, cancellation/refund rules, payment provider, and applicable Swiss reviews are documented.
5. Messages, offers, pickup, and delivery
Users are responsible for checking item condition, counterparties, pickup locations, delivery expectations, and private agreements. Do not send money, personal data, or goods when a transaction appears suspicious. Limowo can review reports and may restrict account to protect the marketplace.
6. Moderation and enforcement
Limowo may rate-limit, reject, hide, suspend, delete, or review accounts, listings, messages, uploads, seller profiles, orders, or agent actions when needed for safety, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or operational integrity. Anyone may report suspected illegal content or a violation through the relevant report control or by contacting limowo.ch@gmail.com. Limowo may request context, preserve relevant evidence, notify affected users where appropriate, and provide a review or appeal route for significant restrictions where feasible.
7. User content and permissions
Users retain ownership of content they submit. They give Limowo a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, display, reproduce, moderate, and technically process that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and communicate about the marketplace. Users must have the rights needed to submit the content. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except where retention is reasonably required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, backup, or audit purposes.
8. Account deletion and retained records
Users may request account deletion through the available profile controls or by contacting Limowo. Deletion can be delayed or limited where records are required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, accounting, legal claims, or auditability. Limowo may retain anonymised or aggregated information that no longer identifies a person.
9. Availability and changes
Limowo is operated with reasonable care, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Product behaviour, feature flags, prices, and policies may change as the marketplace evolves. Material changes will be communicated where required. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. These terms should be reviewed by qualified Swiss counsel before commercial launch.
